Tutoring booked like a timetable, not a phone tree

1. 01Choose your coursePick it from the bar at the top of any page. Each course page opens on the soonest day with openings.
2. 02Pick the hour you needThe week is posted as a timetable, and every open hour shows how many tutors are free right then.
3. 03Compare who’s openOnly the tutors free for that full hour appear, with the topics they cover, how they teach, their rate and their reviews.
4. 04Pay and get your linkCheckout reserves the time and emails your Zoom link. Message your tutor beforehand if you want to flag what to cover.

How long is a session?

One hour, online over Zoom. Start times run every fifteen minutes, and you can book several hours back to back for a longer block.

When do I get the link?

Straight after checkout. We email a Zoom link for every session you booked, and the join button on your sessions page opens five minutes before you start.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and you're refunded in full. Inside 24 hours the session isn't refunded, because your tutor has already held the time. If a tutor cancels, you're always refunded in full.

Is the time actually free when I see it?

Yes. The schedule is generated from each tutor's real availability minus what's already booked. Times aren't held while they sit in your cart, though — they're reserved at checkout, so finish up to lock one in.

Who are the tutors?

UT Austin students who have already taken the course they teach. Tutoring with J2 is invite-only, and every tutor's rating comes from students who actually booked them.
